good it's a great day to be an angle bad accident on and IMR Lisa Murphy hello and welcome to the first Ike newscast of the year so far this year has been packed with fun and there's much more to come today will be talking about three exciting events school picnic here in tell you what went down at our annual school picnic take it away guys only Smurfy here at the Eisenhower tree picnic today will be interviewing some children hear about what their opinions about the picnic are hello doing today so what's your favorite part about the picnic I like eating lunch what's your favorite part hello do you like the food is it today sounds like fun what was your favorite part of the picnic today  getting to be out here like a lot of fun what's your favorite part of the picnic today the sunshine in the nice weather that were having okay so what are you enjoying about the picnic today getting to see all of the nice friendly faces of our kids and their friends it's just wonderful getting to see all the parents come have lunch with their students what's good thank you what about you sitting with the teacher  sitting outside Columbus Zimmerman what's your favorite what are the picnic the my favorite part of the pic they probably is seen all the parents come and all the kids getting excited to see parents and then sitting outside enjoying their wonderful lunch here today  what was your favorite food for today Champs  right now I'm here with Olivia and Maddie and I'm going to ask you a question what made you want to eat inside put it inside cuz I don't want to go outside cuz then get this Beetle trying to get seed in my food will milk play do you want to eat tell my mom to my my little sister inside because there's a be outside and chased my mom and my little sister had kept landing on my mom's finger that doesn't sound fun and why did you want to volunteer today I love Eisenhower and I love our schools on Fort Leavenworth so what would you like change it this pic all the tables can be where all the bugs are  with a bun  Traders Institute is super huge line for food how do you feel about this long line keyboard  weird I think she feels really bored so bored so enjoy your lunch okay thank you that was exciting 4th grade to 6th grade these kids have prepared powerful speeches for the elections let's see what went down in the auditorium Representatives chosen what is our president is accident on vice president is Addison manly secretary is Charlie Rambo and treasure is Allison Harold the speeches were phenomenal so many performances we can tell that we will have a great school year in our future but we want to know how the representatives feel about being chosen here we have Thomas Nicholas and Lillian interviewing level wraps over to you guys I'm Nicholas courts with Eisenhower's president accident and I'm asking what would you change about the school of the spear I was thinking about adding water fountains outside so you don't have to go inside to get the drink  baby thank you would you have any or events held maybe a fundraiser at the school held at the school to earn money to get things you would want to purchase vice president of Addison Manley and today what would you like to change about Eisenhower Elementary I support accident and what he wants to do with the water turn it outside but I also wanted to change the water fountains inside because in fourth grade most of the water fountains were broken so I want like somebody to come and fix them thank you for your time I'm here with Charlie Rambo the Secretary of Eisenhower Elementary tell me Charlie what do you want to change my ice tower wanted to be a safe environment for the students here it really fun too going to learn a little more about technology know how to use them and like all the subjects we got mad social studies all that jazz and we're going to let we're going to have them learn and let them learn as much as they can until their head explodes pretty much for your time I'm here with Allison Harold Treasurer and Allison what do you want to change about the school night or Treasure Island help with the school start thank you  what I wish they all could win yes now we have our stukel buddy bench that's new to this year wonder what the Mysteries is for yes let's find out  buddy bench good for relaxing resting and good for a cool down if someone's they're on the Buddy bench is way more exciting that its purpose is in its name think about it  buddy bench get it it's to make a buddy the Buddy bench is a new addition to this year to make friends easier have you ever need a buddy while you were on the playground bringing you the Buddy bench he really need a buddy see a little thing at the Buddy bench do hey  you make their day if you come to ask them to play now I know it's called the Buddy bench well thank you for watching and remember if it does rain
