it's a great day to be an eagle hello Ike eagles look in the first news cast of the year the school year we were joined by many new teachers enjoy pain food item on a menu and reflected on 9/11 during the annual Freedom walk here I feel this year we had a lot of skip schedule I'm just looking to students we welcome the new teachers with smiles on our faces we will now join Louisville and Genevieve Oakley who be introducing us to them I'm going to be Oakley of party here in the fifth and sixth grade Hall I'm very excited to introduce more new teachers to you here we go this is Harold your last year but now she's teaching 6th grade full-time jobs have you had other jobs I have had I was in paper route carrier what is younger I also worked at a grocery store in the deli department and then I became a teacher and most recently before I started teaching again I was a stay-at-home mom that's pretty cool hi this is McCoy and she's a 5th grade teacher let's get to know her Gracie taught well I was a sub at Bradley for the music teacher for a long time and I am so I told all the grace that's pretty fun your favorite my favorite is V I like that show I've done lots of things because I didn't become a teacher until just recently but I was I was cosmetologist that doesn't mean that I study the cosmos it means that I was dresser so I did that and it was a Church secretary for a long time song Thank you thank you let me introduce to you. fifth grade teacher we think you've XR far how do you like it I really like I exist here are great during amazing with the other teachers are wonderful to work with play time that's great thank you thank you I can go Slaughter she's our new counselor letter did you go to I went to Oklahoma State Solaris degree gopokes and MidAmerica Nazarene in Kansas for my Master's does but stomach Great Schools thank you job said you had I've been a para and an elementary school before and also I worked in a hospital on the psychiatric ward that's some pretty cool it was interesting and now for the fun question what's your favorite dessert plan anything chocolate I agree thank you thank you what's your name Kim Pearson Pearson really nervous at the school Dell ice cream I serve ice cream here that I like getting to see the kind of see the turtle in turtle favorite part is math with mask hey what's your name Evan what about school I like recess and lunch okay what's your favorite lunch item  well I have my home line so I can't really decide hey what's your name Makayla Robbins Michaela Robbins and what were you expecting to win the school expecting exactly like my school last year like a lot worse than what it turned out to be liked about the school funny because I don't know much so  you learn a lot  hey what's your name Mickey this is Nathan Lynch and what were you expecting coming to school at the for you even saw pictures of the school what did you think was going to be like big school that is going to be like a big school what's your favorite lunch item Pizza he likes the pizza hey what's your name my name is Jennifer and what's your favorite part about school my favorite part about school is meeting all the new students to and meeting of the nice teachers we got two students interview at the same time so what is your dice play card at school I like going to do our I just saw teams love new someone's going to say that and what's your favorite lunch item my chef Salah Thanos like I said what is  hey what's your name called is cullinan what were you expecting turn to Eisenhower better than my old school what's your favorite lunch item  the Empire don't cry heaven without the corn dogs Peanut the corn dogs  thanks guys we can't wait to meet them this year and you find it who Dad it was out of the I have tears many taco pizza what is the scariest new food and how did it show up on their menu when Matthew to find the answer to this mystery this is Matthew L reporting from the Ike Syria to investigate this mysterious new menu item taco pizza is it a taco or is it a pizza or is it something in between I'm here to find out the scuse me what do you think of the taco pizza I think it's just like a Taco on top of a pizza dough  like it more than pizza on top of a taco shell because tacos are awesome so would you recommend it to other people yes I would thank you very much what do you think of a taco pizza  saving a half started I'm here with Miss make an orange school kitchen soap mr. Frank what can you tell me about the new menu new menu item taco pizza will you try to with a Sumer and something really wanted to experiment with something weirdo working and hopefully the kids would like it that means a good product and how many of y'all traded for lunch today did you and did you enjoy it so you go  can you tell me what's in the top of pizza  nearest music loosely we have refried beans as a base that we put on a whole wheat crust and then we had Taco me today and cheese and then we also add the lettuce tomato cup on the side so you can put it on and get the full type of pizza experience think about didn't really think it would go over with the younger kids cuz I'm stuff like that usually doesn't but the older kids tend to enjoy it so it works as predicted what do you think of the taco pizza it's pretty good to me it cheesy but I'm okay with that as long as it's not too much cheese hello can I ask you what you think of the taco I think it is very good and I don't know it's good I don't know what do you like about it healthy  as you can see interesting developments in the cafeteria this year thanks for joining me and that's all for me back to you Lauren and thanks Matthew very interesting can't wait sharks more of that and I will join our field reporters at the freedom walk over to you guys 14 years ago America suffered severe tax in our country we know the day of 9/11 today we honor those who died celebrity our freedom for school district got together for annual Freedom walk the same songs march to and from the football field of heartworms Tampa I was supposed representative in other schools think it's ever who participated especially Mary from our school Jeffers evidence as we have flex and what happened on that hole 14 years ago dance with a thing for you in this to them what does freedom mean deal Freedom means being able to go to school wherever you want means being whatever race you want or whatever how you are and just being able to do whatever you want when you feel like it please that you can what ever you want and be free for who you are and no one can judge you by what you wear or look I think that's a great answer thank you what does freedom mean to you freedom to me means being able to make choices for ourselves being able to choose the religion that we want to practice the can't we want to go to the friends that we want to have freedom makes us individuals and we are very very lucky to have so many freedoms in this country okay thank you you don't have to have someone always checking on you I'm here at the former I can former what is Frida mean to what Freedom means to me is how we hit the all go to dancing come together what does freedom mean to you from knees to everybody can do what they want and talk freely and or equal we can be friends with anybody we want what does I want to be what does freedom mean to you we need to be able to have the freedom and people to have the freedom to do the things that they want to do it's it's awesome to have our soldiers who protect us every single day and our police officers and everybody who protects us so that we can go about our day is not have to worry about anything play to execute that God given rights to choose doing lunch things like that equal and everyone I know you said that everyone can have their freedom to do what they feel the need to do and what I don't realize equal in their way what does freedom mean to you thank you that's all for the sake it's Lauren schellinger and Isabella Troutman signing off and remember it's a great day to be in a Nike Golf
