Curriculum

Kindergarten students at Eisenhower Elementary will be working with all Kindergarten teachers to meet the quarterly essential goals. Students will learn through differentiated instruction with flex grouping and intervention strategies.

• Identify letters and sounds
• Read 80 sight words
• Count, blend, and segment syllables
• Recognize and produce rhyming words
• Blend and segment sounds to produce words
• Read emergent level text
• Print letters to make words and stories
• Participate in shared reading activities

 

• Identify, write & count numbers 0-20
• Count forward from a given number
• Counts by 1’s and 10’s to 100
• Compares groups of objects and written numbers
• Identifies, sorts and compares plane and solid shapes
• Add & subtract to 10
• Solve word problems to 10
• Compose and decompose numbers 11 to 19 into ten and ones
