Joni McCoy
Welcome to 5th grade at Ike! We are so excited to have you join us!
A little about myself: this is my eighth year at USD207, and seventh at Eisenhower. I am a Missouri native, but have called Texas, Mississippi, Oklahoma and now Kansas home, as well. I am a mom of three grown daughters, grandmother of three amazing kiddos and six granddogs, and wife of a retired military officer. We are loving farm life here in eastern Kansas!
This will be an amazing year as we learn to do things a little differently, while still accomplishing the same goals - live, laugh, love and learn! Learning in our class is a mix of hands-on, lecture, digital and (somehow) group activities. I believe each student has their own genius, and it is my mission to help them find it, in a climate of safety, comfort, and caring. We have a lot to learn in 5th grade, and I can't wait to get started!
