Katy Longfellow

Welcome! As an Army spouse, my personal and professional experience has taken me from Kansas to South Korea to Belgium and back! I absolutely loved living abroad, traveling, meeting all the new people and cultures, and bringing that into the classroom to better understand our amazingly diverse population of students. Being here with USD207 for several years, I've been fortunate enough to work in all district schools with the full range of grade levels, and students with all varieties of academic and social needs. Meeting kids where they're at and helping them be the very best version of themselves is my passion. I'm a true believer that when kids are provided with a structured environment where they feel safe, loved, and receive positive attention, we can then work together to build the skills and confidence they need to really thrive and grow. In our Structured Learning Classroom this year, I'm super excited to see the amazing growth and development each kiddo will achieve!
