What is a Student Council?
A Student Council is a representative structure for students only, through which they can become involved in the affairs of the school, working in partnership with school management, staff and parents for the benefit of the school and its students.
What is the purpose of the student council?
Student Council is an organization conducted by student leaders and supervised by adult sponsors. The purpose of Student Council is to provide leadership, and to serve the student body, the school, and the community. Student Council at Eisenhower is the students' voice in our school.
Representatives are both elected and appointed for each grade level. These students will represent fellow students in meetings with the Administration and will be the designated student group empowered to represent the student body and to organize class and school dances and all other school sponsored social activities.
