Rebecca Walsh
Let me take a moment to give you a little information about myself.
I am originally from Bellevue, Nebraska. All of my thirty-three years of teaching experience has been with military children in kindergarten, first, second, third, and fifth grades. I have taught in DoDDS schools in Panama, Cuba, and Germany. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in education from Benedictine College in Atchison, Kansas. My Master of Arts degree in teaching is from Webster University in Kansas City, Missouri. My husband and I have 2 wonderful adult children. I love my job and look forward to working with your child.
First grade is an extremely important year for your child. It is the year to form a solid foundation of reading skills, learn the mechanics of writing, work with numbers up to 120, practice adding, subtracting and so much more! It is the perfect year to learn how exciting and enjoyable school can be! My personal goal is to foster a love of learning in each child that will continue throughout their school career!
