Let me share a little about myself. This is my eleventh year teaching at Fort Leavenworth USD 207 and my eleventh year teaching 2nd grade with the district. I earned my Bachelor’s degree at the University of St. Mary and my Master’s degree at Baker University.
Welcome to 2nd grade. I am excited to be working with your child this year. This year second graders will learn and master many new concepts. In Math they will be expected to memorize their addition and subtraction facts to 20. In Reading they will work on reading and writing persuasive, expository, and narrative texts. They will be exploring our world through hands on Science. They will also learn about US history, government, and civic responsibilities during Social Studies. Please contact me as you see needed, and I will do the same. Together, we will make things happen for your child!
