WELCOME TO 2nd GRADE!!
The state of Kansas has adopted the Common Core State Standards for English Language Arts and Math. We have also adopted the Next Generation Science Standards and the Kansas State Department of Education Social Studies Standards.
To meet the needs of all students, we use flexible grouping for reading and math instruction. The students’ quarterly grades are derived from samples of daily work, summative assessments and unit/chapter tests.
